Former Chairman (Kenya Branch, 2012-2015), Dr. Kariuki Muigua was nominated as the sole candidate to become the CIArb Regional Trustee for Africa to succeed Chief Bayo Ojo of Nigeria effective 1st January 2019.

I am pleased to bring to your attention that by the closing date for nominations for the African Trustee position, our member and former Chairman (Kenya Branch, 2012-2015), Dr. Kariuki Muigua was nominated as the sole candidate to become the CIArb Regional Trustee for Africa to succeed Chief Bayo Ojo of Nigeria effective 1st January 2019.
On behalf of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Kenya Branch), I wish to congratulate Dr. Kariuki Muigua on this landmark achievement not only to the Branch but to the continent and by extension to the CIArb global family.
Much work lies ahead as we seek to consolidate and drive forward the progress that we have already made as a Branch and in Africa. I look forward to working closely with Dr. Muigua to raise the stature of our Branch and all CIArb projects.
